Lilah Horton
Born and raised in Southern California, Lilah Horton, now residing in Los Angeles,
weaves her vibrant passion for life into the fabric of her being through dance. Lilah recently
graduated from UCLA, completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance in just three years.
During this time, Lilah created and produced three works of her own and participated in seven
performance pieces ranging from Afro-House to Tap to Contemporary. Outside of her university
experience, she has performed live and on-screen in performances like World Of Dance Season
3, the Emmys Governor’s Ball, and as a soloist at The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
Her versatile training in Tap, House, Modern/Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Broadway Jazz has
led her to work closely with and perform alongside innovators such as Tyce Diorio, Jason Janas,
Toyin Sogunro, and Gracie Whyte. Lilah’s mission is to honor and merge her love for all genres
of dance in her performance, choreographic, and teaching practice. As an educator, Lilah
emphasizes the historical and cultural value of her movement practices in her work with dance
studios, multidisciplinary convention workshops, and culturally sustaining dance performances
for schools K-12.
