kendra McIntyre
Kendra McIntyre discovered her love for dance at the age of 14. She has trained in Ballet, Modern dance, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Commercial Dance and African dance in prominent dance studios and programs in Maryland, DC, New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles for over 10 years. She attended Temple University where she earned her BFA in Dance Education in 2014. Shortly after graduating, Kendra became a middle school dance teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools, where she spent two wonderful years educating students on dance and showcasing students in wonderful performance opportunities. She went on to continue teaching across the Washington Metropolitan area, providing students with a variety of dance and choreography classes.
In 2016, Kendra signed with Clear Talent Group, which allowed her access to be submitted to various casting calls and be able to audition for dance gigs. Her first professional dance job was In the Heights (film). She moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to continue pursuing her professional dance career. Her talents landed her in projects such as, The Prom: The Netflix Musical, Remy Martin Team Up For Excellence (commercial), Babylon (film), Soul Train Awards with Silk Sonic and more recently, The Color Purple (film).
