UniverSOUL Hip Hop pursues community, justice and joy through transformative, SOUL-centered dance performance and education. This vision has led the company into our new full-length dance theater show, Hope & Joy.

Hope & Joy is a theatrical movement love letter to restore joy and hope in our communities. Uniquely fresh every time, raw freestyle is mixed with spirited choreography, spoken word, and music to paint untold stories that cultivate a space for cathartic release and transformation. Activate your inner child and follow the characters on a SOULful quest filled with struggle, awakening, and ultimately - H.O.P.E.

At the end of the show an intimate Q&A between the audience and performers is held in the theater. Audience members are then invited to more deeply investigate and connect with the show's message as they are welcome to join cast members for a movement experience which concludes the production.
